Just look at this product and you can see why it is unique! A scarf type item with a mustache on it, makes the user look as if they have a mustache. What could be more unique than that?! This product immediately caught my eye when I was looking on Etsy, and it definitely made me want to find out more. It takes a creative and rather silly person to come up with such a product, but it is definitely something that could make people smile and would catch their eye. It won’t be a product for everyone – the shy people of the world likely wouldn’t want to wear it and therefore draw attention to themselves, but everyone can use a good laugh, and this product can definitely provide that! This is a fun and very unique gift item for your favorite knitter–or to knit yourself to give to your favorite science geek or teacher! I think it’s hilarious to see the innards of a frog all done in soft green yarn, and to display it pinned to a corkboard like a real frog would be in science class! It’s funny, but not gross whatsoever. It would be great to give to a collector, too—I’ll bet they don’t have one like this! I think if I were to make it I might choose brighter yarn colors, but that’s a matter of personal taste. I like the photos presented on the page, including the one where someone is showing a bit of the reverse side so you can see the face—the eyes are Xs….so funny! “3 out of 4 biologists agree: Knitting in Biology 101 is the cutest biology project, ever!
