I met an amazing woman 6 months ago who has inspired me in so many ways. She is a teacher, a counsellor, a motivator for youth, a coordinator for community activities, a student, a lawyer in training, and the list goes on.
She is an awesome friend, an amazing woman, and an alluring and stunning beauty.
She is one of the most compassionate and caring people that has entered my life in the past decade.
She even lent me her car for a week- when mine went for repairs- despite the need for her to travel an hour to work each day.
Most amazing is her dedication to her daughter. It is unconditional, unmoving, evergrowing and I she is the most passionate and dedicated mother I have the priviledge of calling my friend.
    You know who you are.

The first thing I do every morning before I get up is I read a few pages in a book on positive thinking that I keep beside my bed. Todays chapter covered how vocabulary can change the way we think and perceive things. What made me stop reading only to re-read the last section was a very simple yet genius statement. It said “I honestly cannot believe why it’s called an ‘alarm clock’. I prefer to think of it as an ‘opportunity clock’.” That statement made my day totally awesome and will make this an awesome week.

I met this girl. She’s got a boyfriend but still decided to hold my hand when we both passed out on a couch after a night of too little sleep. She makes me laugh and I love the person I am when I’m around her. I’ve only known her for a few days but it feels like we’ve been hanging out for years. She’s awesome and I feel awesome when thinking about her. I want to thank her for being around and making life awesome.

On my flight back to Raleigh I had a couple and their child on their laps next to me, a couple and their child on their laps behind me and a mom and her 4 children on the seats behind them. A gentlemen with a full row asked the one family next to him if they wanted a full row and switched places with them. The woman a few rows back allowed me to sit next to her to give the other family a full row. No crying children, just happy families. Thank you gentleman and woman on flight 801.

I dropped $5 while I was checking out at Target today. Instead of keeping it, the woman behind me got out of line so that she could run after me and give it back.

I forgot my wallet in the car as I was trying to buy a cup of coffee. I didn’t realize this until I checked out. The woman behind me bought my $1.79 cup of coffee. Thank you to the woman in the peach shirt who was at Coffee & Crepes this morning!
